ALASKA YELLOW CEDAR

Alaska yellow cedar grows along British Columbia’s coastal region. It is pale yellow in colour, with a straight grain and a fine, even texture. Due to its longevity and durability, it is often used for exterior projects such as shingles, posts, decking and stairs. It is also valued as an excellent softwood for furniture, decorative panelling, mouldings and cabinetry.
